Yajata Atreya praises Mitra, Varuna and Aryaman, the Adityas, in Anushtubh. O Devas, you have gained a high and holy place and the mightiest rule. When you sit on your golden seat, supporters of the peoples, grant happiness. All-knowing, they follow the vows step by step and guard the mortal from harm. True, touching rita, keepers of rita in every people, good guides and generous, they make wide room even out of distress. The closing verse asks which of us has not praised you; the thought goes to you, the thought goes forth from the Atris.
