Angirasas, receive the son of Manu
Nabhanedishtha Manava, in mixed metres, honours the Angirasas and then a patron's gift. You Angirasas who won Indra's friendship and immortality by sacrifice and dakshina, who drove out the cows and split Vala by rita, who raised the sun to heaven: good be to you, receive the son of Manu, wise ones. The Angirasas are of many forms, born from Agni, the Navagvas and Dashagvas among them. The last verses praise the gift of Savarni, a Manu who gives a thousand cows and a hundred horses at once; his dakshina spreads like a river.
