What happens in this chapter
Rescue from wasting sickness for a hundred autumns
Prajapatya Yakshmanashana addresses Indra and Agni, against rajayakshma, the wasting disease. By this offering I free you to live, from the unknown sickness and from rajayakshma; if the seizer has seized him, Indra and Agni, release him. If his life has waned, if he has gone beyond, if he is led to death's very side, I bring him back from the lap of Nirriti; I have won him for a hundred autumns. Live a hundred autumns, growing, a hundred winters and a hundred springs. I have brought you back, you have come again, renewed; whole of limb, I have found your sight and your full life.
