What happens in this chapter Indra's deeds for Kutsa and the dawns Anga Aurava praises Indra in jagati. In friendship with Indra the singers, thinking on rta, split open Vala; Indra loosed the dawns and the waters for Kutsa. He made the mountains swell and drove out the cows, drank the sweet soma, and the sun shone by the song born of rta. Surya unyoked his chariot in mid-heaven. Indra broke the strongholds of the crafty asura Pipru with Rijishvan, smashed the godless and their hoards,. These are his deeds alone, the rishi says: he set the order of the months in heaven, and the father bears the rim that Indra cut.
