Avatsara Kashyapa's sixth gayatri sukta is built on a refrain closing every verse: tarat sa mandi dhavati, the joyful one runs, he who carries across. The stream of the pressed juice flows. The bright goddess knows the goods and the help due to mortal men. The last two verses are a danastuti: the rishi has received thousands from Dhvasra and Purushanti, and thirty thousand from them in a row. Each time the refrain returns to the running, joyful Soma.
