Avatsara Kashyapa's second gayatri sukta. Following Soma's ancient brilliance, the priests have milked the bright milk, the seer that wins a thousand. He is to be seen like the sun; he runs to the lakes, along the seven slopes, up to heaven. Purifying, Soma stands above all the worlds like the deva Surya. For the feast of the Devas, Indu, devoted to Indra, flows round us bringing strength rich in cattle.
