Trita and the seven seats of yajna

Trita Aptya offers eight ushnik verses to Soma Pavamana. The child of the great waters, working, urges on the light of Rita. He has taken his hidden place beside the two press-stones of Trita, and through the seven seats of the yajna it became dear to him. With Trita's three streams he brings wealth to the heights. Seven mothers taught the newborn ordainer for splendour. In his vrata all the devas are of one mind and without guile. The two great mothers of Rita, heaven and earth, come together for him. With bright eyes he has opened the pen of heaven.
