What happens in this chapter

No god is small, none a child

Four verses by Manu Vaivasvata to all the gods. Among you, gods, none is small and none a child; all of you are great indeed. So are you praised, destroyers of foes, you thirty-three, the holy gods of Manu. The poet asks them to save, help and speak for us, and not to lead us far from the path of our father Manu. Let all the gods here, and those of all men, give wide shelter to our cows and our horses.
