Four anushtubh verses of Vamadeva Gautama, the first to Vayu and the rest to Indra and Vayu. Vayu, the bright soma, the best of the honey, has been brought to you at the morning rites; come with your team to drink it, desired god. You two, Indra and Vayu, are worthy to drink these juices, for the drops run to you as water runs downhill. Lords of strength, come together on one chariot with your teams for our help and for the soma. Grant us those much-desired teams of yours, heroes, which you keep for the giver.
