Indra, drink with svaha

Five trishtubh verses of Vishvamitra to Indra. With svaha, let Indra drink, the strong bull with the Maruts, whose Soma this is; the wide-reaching one is to fill himself with these foods. The rishi yokes the two attentive horses that have long served Indra; here the bays are to bring him. The singers have set Indra, who wishes for milk, at the head for pre-eminence. Delighted, having drunk, he is to send them cows in many forms. The Kushikas, seeking the light, have made this offering of prayers for Indra. The hymn ends with the refrain.
