Indra of the golden hue

Five brihati verses of Vishvamitra to Indra, built on the word hari, golden-yellow or tawny. The Soma pressed with the bays is offered to him; he is to come with his bays and mount his golden chariot. Delighting, he made the dawn shine and lit up the sun. Indra holds up heaven, which bears the golden, and the earth of golden form, between which the golden one moves. Born golden, the bull lights all the shining realm and takes in his arms the golden vajra. He opened the pen with the golden stones and drove out the cows.
