Vibhraj, the radiant sun

Vibhraj Saurya praises Surya in jagati. May the great radiant one drink the soma honey, giving unbroken life to the lord of the yajna; driven by the wind, he guards and nourishes the people and shines in many ways. The great radiant one, well-borne, most winning of strength, the truth set in the support of heaven, a light was born that slays foes, Vritra, the Dasyus, the asuras and rivals. This light is the best of lights, the highest, called all-conquering and wealth-winning; the all-shining sun spread wide to be seen, with firm power. Shining with light, you went to heaven's bright sphere, by which all worlds are borne.
