Bhuvana Aptya, or Sadhana Bhauvana, praises the Vishvedevas in two-footed trishtubh. Let us make these worlds succeed, Indra and all the devas. May Indra with the Adityas shape our yajna, our bodies and our offspring. With the Adityas and the band of Maruts, may Indra be the helper of our bodies. When the devas came back after slaying the asuras, they guarded their godhood. With their powers they brought back the hymn, and then they saw around them the swift svadha, the food of strength. Five short lines carry a prayer for the world, the body and children, and a memory of the devas' victory.
