What happens in this chapter Vishnu, friend who opens the stall In jagati Dirghatamas asks Vishnu to be kind as a friend, rich in glory and wide-spread. Whoever honours this ancient and ever-new god, and speaks of his great birth, gains fame. The singers are told to know him as the embryo of rita and to declare his name. King Varuna and the Ashvins follow his will. With his friend Indra, Vishnu opens the stall of cows, and the dweller in three seats gives the worshipper his share in rita.
