What happens in this chapter

Agni the twice-born fills three heavens

He hastens toward great wealth, lord of the house and its riches, and the pressing stones serve him as he comes. Dirghatamas sings five short virad verses. Agni is the bull of heaven and earth among men, settling in his womb. He lit up the fort like a racing steed, a seer, shining like the sun with a hundred lives. Twice-born, he has stood shining over the three bright realms of light and all the spaces, the hotar best at sacrifice in the seat of the waters. This twice-born hotar holds every choice good for the mortal who gives to him.
