We have pressed with the stones; come, kings who touch the sky. Three long atishakvari verses by Paruchchhepa invite Mitra and Varuna to the gladdening soma, mixed with milk and with curds. The drops wait for them at the waking of the dawn, together with the Sun's rays. Men milk the stalk with the stones as one milks a cow at morning. Come near, facing us, to drink: this soma is pressed by men for Mitra and Varuna and for rita.
