A short hymn of five verses by Manu Vaivasvata to all the gods. The thirty-three and more have sat on the barhis; they have found and given doubly. Varuna, Mitra and Aryaman, the fires with their wives, honoured with vashat, are named. Let them guard us from west, north, south and east, with all the people. As the gods will, so it comes to pass; no one can break it, not even the stingy mortal. The last verse speaks of seven: the seven have seven spears, seven glories, and seven splendours they wear.
